Social Responsibility
Corporate citizenship, as defined by the World Economic Forum, is the
contribution a company makes to society through its core business activities,
its social investment and philanthropy programmes and its engagement in public
policy. Andisa fully subscribes to this view. In becoming a good corporate
citizen, we are focused on the effective management of our economic, social and
environmental relationships, though an integrated approach that encompasses all
our stakeholders.
Andisa is committed to doing its share as a responsible corporate citizen by
improving the quality of life in the communities in which our employees live and
work. We endeavour to participate in and provide financial support to selected
social, cultural, educational and other charitable organizations and
initiatives. We also actively encourage our employees to give something back to
their communities.
Andisa endeavours to:
- Identify potential recipients of benefits under our social investment programme;
- Help further education and skills development; and
- Allocate financial resources together with the time and skills of our staff towards suitable social investment projects.
Andisa's previous projects include the following:
Student Sponsorship Programme
Andisa has been involved, and still is, in a programme which provides talented, previously disadvantaged students an opportunity to receive quality primary and high school education by providing financial assistance and mentorship. This is done through SSP.
